Julien Cornille
Co-founder and publication director, Memory Pencil
Julien Cornille is a software engineer and the co-founder of Memory Pencil, which he started with Ilan Binisti in the Paris area. A dad himself, he wanted his kids to color their own memories rather than generic pictures.
At Memory Pencil, he designs and builds the pipeline that turns a family photo into coloring pages: image preparation, line extraction by a specialized AI model, line simplification, then a page-by-page review before anything goes to print.
As the site's publication director, he writes the blog guides from what real orders teach him: which photos make a good coloring page, how to match a book to a child's age, and how print-on-demand works.
